Dog Bowls
Build your dog-bowl collection around the sizes and styles your customers need. Browse single bowls, double sets and raised designs, then discuss colours, logos and retail packaging.
Compare dog bowl formats before you shortlist a reference.
The 12 references cover printed dog bowl sets, removable-insert bowls, raised and stand-mounted formats, double stations, and two rolling-ball slow-feeder lick bowls. Use the Ref. ID to compare the structural direction first, then confirm dimensions, component materials, included parts, branding and pack format for that exact version. The rolling-ball references are intended for soft, moist or semi-fluid foods; for a broader range of maze, patterned and textured slow-feeding designs, see Slow Feeder Bowls.

Define the bowl, insert and base as one specification.
Choose a single bowl, a removable insert or a complete feeding stand according to what you want to sell. An insert makes replacement and separate cleaning part of the offer; a stand adds assembled height and shelf space that the bowl diameter alone does not describe.
Keep the quoted contents clear: one bowl, a pair, an insert only or the complete stand and bowls. This helps prevent a visually similar quotation from covering a different retail product.
Most references are everyday bowls, sets and raised feeding formats. R03-10 and R03-11 are rolling-ball feeding designs for soft, moist or semi-fluid food. For a broader range of maze, patterned and textured slow-feeding designs, use Slow Feeder Bowls; for collapsible and travel formats, use Travel Bowls & Water Bottles.
Bowl geometry & usable size
Record the opening diameter or width, usable depth, capacity basis and base footprint. Two bowls with the same stated capacity can still differ substantially in shape and shelf footprint.
Insert & outer shell
If the selected style has a removable insert, specify the insert and outer shell separately. Confirm the exact material and finish instead of inferring them from the photograph.
Stand, pedestal & set
For raised or elevated bowl formats, record the assembled feeding height, stand footprint, bowl fit and the pieces included in the set. Keep those dimensions with the quoted version.
Build the size range from measurements, not size names.
Size labels such as small, medium and large do not tell you the bowl's actual dimensions. Use consistent measurements in the quotation, sample and final specification.
| What to define | What the buyer should confirm |
|---|---|
| Opening & usable depth | State where the bowl is measured and record the internal opening plus usable depth for the selected construction. |
| Capacity basis | If capacity matters, agree how it is measured and keep that basis consistent across the size range rather than comparing labels alone. |
| Rolling-ball lick-bowl geometry | For R03-10 and R03-11, record the overall footprint, ball diameter, usable feeding area around the ball, intended ball movement and how the parts separate for filling and cleaning. Keep these dimensions separate from a conventional bowl-capacity label. |
| Base or stand footprint | Record the floor footprint separately from the bowl opening. For double stations, include center spacing and the overall assembled width. |
| Assembled height | For pedestal or raised formats, state the finished feeding height and any assembly or adjustment detail that changes it. |
| Set contents & size ID | List every bowl, insert, stand or accessory in the retail set and make sure the product label or package size name matches the approved specification. |
Specify each component before you approve the sample.
Material, finish, cleaning access and assembly belong to the exact construction being quoted. A metal-looking insert, coated shell or wood-tone stand should not be treated as a material specification from appearance alone.
Bowl or insert material
For a stainless-steel dog bowl project, state the required steel grade and finish if they matter to your market. For other materials, record the exact material requirement in the same way.
Outer shell, stand & base
Describe the shell, holder, feet or base ring as separate components. Confirm how each part is attached, removed or reassembled on the selected version.
Surface & decoration
Specify color, coating, print area and logo position separately. Decoration feasibility depends on the actual surface, so approve it on the chosen sample rather than on a generic mockup.
Care instructions
Confirm cleaning guidance for the complete product, including removable parts and decorated surfaces. Dishwasher suitability and other care guidance are checked for the exact materials, decoration and removable parts in your selected version.
Keep customization and pack contents tied to the exact bowl version.
For custom dog bowls, the visible finish is only part of the brief. Specify which bowl size and colour combinations carry each decoration, and identify the bowl, removable insert or stand included in the retail pack. For artwork, sample approval and packaging handoff, see PETMERO's custom pet product process.
Branding & variant control
- Color: list approved colors by size or style rather than assuming every combination is available.
- Logo: show the requested position on the bowl, shell, stand or packaging.
- Artwork: provide final artwork and note any placement or size limits that matter to the brand.
- Variant ID: keep the quoted SKU, size name and color name aligned with the approved sample.
Retail pack & carton
- Unit or set: state whether the product is one bowl, a pair, or a bowl-and-stand set.
- Protection: identify any divider, sleeve or surface protection needed between finished parts.
- Pack contents: list inserts, stands, feet, accessories, labels and instructions that belong in the pack.
- Shipping data: confirm packed dimensions, units per carton and gross weight on the final configuration.
Dog bowl questions that can change the quotation.
Compare food suitability, materials, sizes and approval needs before selecting dog bowls for your range.
What are the rolling-ball slow-feeder bowls intended for?
Ref. R03-10 and R03-11 are lick-bowl formats for soft, moist or semi-fluid foods such as pouch or canned wet food, plain unsweetened yogurt without xylitol, where suitable for the dog, purées and similar lickable foods. Confirm the ball size and movement, usable feeding area, disassembly, cleaning access and exact materials on the selected reference. For maze or patterned slow-feeder designs, use the Slow Feeder Bowls range.
Can one bowl style be ordered in several sizes or colors?
Often a project considers multiple variants, but feasibility and minimums can differ by model, size, color, decoration and packaging. List the mix you want so the quotation can confirm each combination without assuming they all share one minimum.
Are these dog bowls dishwasher safe?
That depends on the exact bowl material, coating, print, base, stand and removable parts. Confirm care instructions for the complete approved version before using a dishwasher-safe claim on retail packaging.
Can I ask about dog bowls before I know all the specifications?
Yes. A Ref. ID, photo or short description is enough to start a discussion. We can first help narrow the choice to a single bowl, removable-insert bowl, double set or raised stand. For a detailed quotation, the size or capacity, material, quantity, branding, packaging and delivery destination can be confirmed for the selected design.
