Rope & Tug Toys
Compare rope dog toys, loop-handle tugs and rope combinations for wholesale or custom projects. Define size, grip and construction before sampling.
Selected rope & tug toy references.
These references cover different grip and assembly formats: R29-01–04 show animal-head, rope-ball, knot and double-loop styles; R29-05–06 and R29-11 combine rope with separate rings or balls; R29-07–08 show braided rings and coils. R29-09 is a long-handled tug toy, while R29-10 shows linked textured rings without a rope section. R29-12 is a mixed assortment. Choose a Ref. ID and compare the actual dimensions, connections, materials and pack contents before requesting samples or pricing.

Compare rope & tug toy constructions.
01Knotted rope toys
Compare finished length, rope diameter, knot layout and exposed ends on the assembled toy. Use the finished product—not raw cord length—as the reference.
02Handle & loop tug toys
Compare the inside grip opening, outside dimensions and handle construction. These details affect both proportions and the sample you approve.
03Rope + component toys
For rope toys with balls, rings, fabric bodies or other parts, specify each component and the rope-to-component connection on the finished sample.
Choose a rope toy for the way it will be held and played.
A knotted rope, a loop handle and a rope-and-ball toy offer different grip and play choices. Build the assortment around those differences first. Changing rope colours is a different project from adding a new moulded handle or ball, which may require separate tooling and sample work.
Adjust a style
Use an existing reference to explain the grip, length or colour direction you want. If a thicker rope changes the knot size or handle opening, review the complete toy rather than approving the cord alone.
Add your brand
A hangtag or pack can present the brand without changing the toy shape. For a label, printed part or moulded logo on the toy, first identify the actual surface and available space; the method and setup cost depend on that construction.
Develop your own design
A sketch or reference can start a new rope-toy design. Point out the play action or grip you want to change; we can then discuss the rope assembly, attached components and which parts need development before a sample is agreed.
What to send for a quote.
- Product reference, photo, link or sketch
- Finished dimensions and key construction details
- Target colours, branding and packaging
- Estimated quantity per version and destination country
What to confirm in your quote.
Ask the quotation to identify the selected design, quantity, confirmed specification, branding, packaging and delivery basis so offers remain comparable.
Not sure about every detail? Start with a picture or question. Quantity and delivery country can be added later. Minimum order quantity (MOQ), sample costs and delivery timing can then be discussed for your chosen design.
Explore customization ↗From your idea to an agreed order.
- Choose a starting point
Share a rope toy reference or design idea. Quantity and destination can follow when you need a specific quotation.
- Discuss the details
Confirm the feasible changes, key specifications, branding, packaging and sample requirements for the selected design.
- Confirm before production
Approve the agreed sample or specification, then confirm the bulk-order and delivery details.
Before you approve the order.
Keep the approved dimensions, construction, colour direction, branding and packaging details together with the product reference. Record any agreed sample changes before confirming the order.
Specify the finished toy, not just the rope.
Use the assembled toy as the common reference for quotation, sampling and order confirmation. Finished length, grip, rope diameter, knots and joined components should stay consistent across each step.
| Construction detail | Why it matters to the brief | What to specify |
|---|---|---|
| Finished length | Knots, loops and attached parts change the assembled dimensions. | The overall length of the finished toy, including attached pieces. |
| Grip / handle opening | The opening defines the available hand space and overall proportions. | Inside opening, outside dimensions and any handle covering. |
| Rope diameter and braid | They change the thickness and visual construction of the rope section. | Finished rope diameter plus a close-up reference for braid and colour sequence. |
| Knots and exposed ends | Their position changes the finished proportions and appearance. | Knot position, knot count and the agreed appearance of exposed ends. |
| Joined components | A ball, ring, fabric body or other part adds a separate connection and dimension. | Component dimensions and the agreed rope-to-component connection on the sample. |
Use the sample to confirm the complete build.
Review the assembled sample against the dimensions, construction, colour, branding and packaging details agreed for the project.
Measure the finished toy
Check overall length, handle opening, rope diameter and attached-component dimensions against the approved brief.
Inspect the construction
Compare knot position, exposed ends and each connection between the rope, handle and attached components.
Confirm brand and pack details
Review colour sequence, logo or label position and pack contents on the same sample basis used for the quotation.
Keep each variant clear from quote to packaging.
If the range includes several lengths, colours or component combinations, identify each variant consistently in the quotation, sample approval and pack artwork. State whether the buyer receives one toy or a set.
Rope & tug toys: before you order.
What is the minimum order for wholesale rope dog toys?
There is no single fixed minimum for every rope or tug toy. The applicable MOQ depends on the selected product and customization. Send your estimated quantity per version so the project minimum can be confirmed.
Can you develop a rope or tug toy from my reference or sample?
Yes. PETMERO can review a reference image, product link, sample or sketch and discuss the changes you want for the selected design, including size, materials, components, colours, branding and packaging.
What should I confirm about dog rope toy materials?
Confirm the fibre composition, strand construction, rope diameter, knot size and any attached parts for the selected reference. Do not assume that a rope is pure cotton from its colour or appearance. Compare shedding, connections and agreed care instructions on the finished sample.
Can I add my logo, label and retail packaging?
Yes. Share your logo or artwork, preferred label or hangtag format and packaging direction. Placement, artwork and packaging details can then be confirmed for the selected design.
Do all rope and tug toys contain rope?
No. Most references use rope alone or combined with a ring or ball. R29-10 shows three linked textured rings without a rope section; R29-05, R29-06 and R29-11 use rope alongside other components. For each selected design, confirm the parts, dimensions, joining method and material on the sample; a photo does not prove pulling strength or suitability for every dog.
What care and supervision guidance should a rope toy pack include?
State the intended dog size, supervised play guidance and when to remove a frayed or damaged toy. Confirm cleaning and drying for the complete construction, including attached balls or handles; a rope appearance alone does not establish machine-washability or chew resistance.
What should I send for a rope dog toy quotation?
A reference, photo, link or question is enough to start. For a detailed quote, add quantity per version, destination and any known size, material, branding or packaging requirements.
Can I combine several styles or colours in one project?
Yes. Several styles or colour versions can be discussed in one project, but each version should be identified clearly because the applicable minimum, price and sample requirements can vary by design.
